Lindsay Lohan Cast in New Film With a Porn Star

Lindsay Lohan was used to working with A-list actors in her prime and she'll have the chance to do that again in her next movie role. Only this time, her co-star is an A-lister in the porn world

Lindsay has been cast in the upcoming thriller The Canyons alongside James Deen, who is arguably the most famous male porn star at the moment, according to E! Online. The film chronicles "five twentysomethings' quest for power, love, sex and success in 2012 Hollywood." Geez, what a stretch for Lindsay!

So is Lindsay heading down the porn road? After all, she was set to play the role of '70s porn star Linda Lovelace before all those pesky legal troubles got in the way. It turns out that not only will Lindsay's clothes be staying on, but the film has some credibility--the script was written by American Psycho's Bret Easton Ellis, who tweeted the news of Lindsay's casting. 

"The appeal of this role for Lindsay is getting to work with (writer-director) Paul Schrader," said a source. "He's an amazing filmmaker and it's an amazing role for her. She couldn't be happier. Although if she'd had a problem with James Deen, she wouldn't have pursued the role."
