Forbes just released their annual list of the
highest paid musicians on the globe between May 2011-May 2012 and the
biggest musical money maker may surprise you. It wasn't Britney Spears, who came in second with $58 million. Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber didn't earn the top spot either, finishing at third and fourth with a very impressive $57 million and $55 million.
According to Forbes, the biggest musical earner of 2012 was Dr. Dre with $110 million! Although he hasn't had a hit in a minute, he's still an extremely sought after producer and his Beats headphones are one of the most widely sold products in the country.
Rounding out the top 10 is Rihanna (No. 5) with $53 million, Lady Gaga (No. 6) with $52 million, Diddy (No. 7) with $45 million, Katy Perry (No. 8) with $45 million, Beyonce (No. 9) with $40 million and Jay-Z (No. 10) with $38 million.
